International Students

Professional IQ offers the New Zealand Certificate in Financial Services (Level 5) to international students, both onshore in New Zealand and offshore. The qualification is NZQA-approved and meets Financial Markets Authority (FMA) requirements for financial advisers.

The enrolment fee for international students is $4,700 + GST. Payment by instalments is available. The course is structured as two modules, which students can enrol in separately, paying for one module at a time.

The course is delivered online. Students have up to 49 weeks to complete the qualification, though it can be finished more quickly. The two-module structure is intended to accommodate visa conditions that restrict continuous study periods to three months at a time.

Entry requirements include a minimum age of 18 years, sufficient English proficiency (IELTS or equivalent may apply), and, for onshore students, a valid visa. Professional IQ does not provide immigration or visa advice.

Student support staff speak Mandarin, Spanish, and German. A referral programme is available, paying a fee of 5% of the course fee on completion of a referred student's enrolment and payment, provided payment occurs within three months of referral.
