About Edvance Limited

Edvance Limited is a New Zealand workplace training provider founded in 2005 by engineer Peter Robieson in Tauranga. Its head office is now in Auckland, with training delivered nationwide. In June 2024, Edvance was acquired by the New Zealand Skills and Education Group (NZSEG).

Edvance delivers fully funded workplace training and development programmes, tailored to individual organisations and industries. Its training areas include team leadership, workplace communication skills, digital skills, English for speakers of other languages (ESOL), health and safety, and community training programmes, among others.

Edvance holds an NZQA Category 1 rating — the highest classification available under the New Zealand Qualifications Authority's External Evaluation Review (EER) system. Its most recent Category 1 rating was received in 2025. The EER system ceased operation on 1 January 2026.
