About Elim Leadership College
Elim Leadership College is a Pentecostal Christian tertiary provider based in New Zealand, established in 1997 under the name Ministry Training College. It operates as a registered charitable trust under the Charitable Trusts Act 1957, within Elim Christian Centre, which is part of The Elim Church of New Zealand Inc. The College is governed by a Governance Board and a Principal.
The College is NZQA accredited, holding a Category 2 rating with assessments of Confident in capability in self-assessment and Confident in educational performance.
A defining feature of the College's structure is its requirement that students be selected for ministry by their local church before enrolment. Classroom learning is combined with practical ministry placement, and programmes span from part-time evening study to full-time internships at Levels 3 through 6.
