Hadlow Preparatory School is a state-integrated Anglican primary school for boys and girls, located on High Street in Masterton. It was founded in 1929 as a private boarding school for boys. By 1961 the roll had grown from 18 to 100 students, and the school became an integrated primary school in 1999, reaching a roll of around 200 students.
