QED Associates offers professional development programmes leading to the New Zealand Certificate in Adult and Tertiary Teaching (NZCATT) at two levels.

The following qualifications are available:

  • New Zealand Certificate in Adult and Tertiary Teaching — Level 4 — awarded on completion of three modules: Plan and prepare for training and education; Deliver and facilitate training and education; Assess performance and review teaching and learning.
  • New Zealand Certificate in Adult and Tertiary Teaching — Level 5 — awarded on completion of five modules: Plan and prepare advanced learner-centred learning; Facilitate advanced learner-centred learning; Design & evaluate assessments; Moderate and quality assure assessments; Evaluate and improve own professional knowledge and practice in adult education.

The Level 4 programme can be delivered in three contexts: face-to-face group-based, one-on-one or pairs on the job, and online or distance learning. Both programmes are also available as in-house training.
